Julia was a wonderful tour guide! She took us around the wine region and explained the details about the growth, care, and harvesting of her family’s vines. We loved hearing about the history of the island, her family’s history making wine and olive oil, and especially tasting the wines and oil! We greatly enjoyed the tour!

Incredible wine experience — if you’re looking for something other than being on the water, make this your trip. It’s extremely personal as Julia picks you up from your accommodation and takes you around her family’s vineyard and olive groves. You can to walk the grounds while seeing and hearing about Julia’s family’s history on the island and history of wine production.
We love going to wine tours in different countries and this was unique. You’ll leave learning something and at least having an appreciation for wine on Kefalonia. The highlight was going to Julia’s family’s house and tasting her family’s olive oil for lunch.
